Description

He would clear the area and on November 24, 1826, he would record a great victory over the Turks in Arachova, in a multi-day battle, which would show his strategic abilities. For the conquerors, it was the second great catastrophe after Dervenakia.

After securing central Central Greece, he returned to Attica to confront Kioutachis, who continued the siege of the Acropolis (February 28, 1827). He will score two great victories, in Keratsini (March 4) and in the monastery of Agios Spyridon (April 13).
