Description

Mount Athos monk, especially popular nowadays. His admirers are increasing and crediting him with miracles and prophecies.

In 2015 he was proclaimed a Saint of the Orthodox Church by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople and his memory is celebrated on July 12, the day of his death in 1994.

In 2017, he was proclaimed patron saint of the Army Transmissions, by the decision of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.
