Description

He lived in the years of the emperors Diocletian and Maximian until the time of Constantine the Great and his children. He retired to the desert where he lived ascetically, thus staying away from material temptations and various social behaviours.

He died on January 17, 356, and predicted his death with miraculous accuracy, which occurred at the age of 105.
