From a young age, she was attracted to the Christian teaching which she studied and after embracing Christianity, she worked with intense action and enthusiasm for its spread, achieving many thanks to the rhetoric of her skill and her many knowledge. But Catherine, apart from her wisdom and virtues, was also distinguished by the rare beauty of her form. It is said that at the age of 18 she visited the Roman emperor, who was probably Maximinus II or Maxentius and tried to convince him that the persecutions he carried out against the Christians were wrong. However, she succeeded to convert the emperor’s wife to Christianity.
